Notice: Directions during downtown Street Construction
It's spring and yes, the City of Liberty has seen fit to tear up streets around the square again. The best approach to the store remains from Mississippi St., turning south on N. Main right to our store. Currently, the block to our south is torn up, but that does not impact reaching the store -- it does impact parking.
Once construction on the block to our south is complete, they are supposed to start working on the "cosmetic" items -- so we have no idea when things will totally return to normal. We do apologize for the continued inconvenience.
We have also changed our store hours - going forward, we will be closed on Sundays and Mondays -- open Tuesday thru Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We are here to serve you, our customers - come on in!!!

James Country Mercantile reproductions chosen for display

Jean Warren, proprietor of James Country Mercantile, has made several reproduction quilts, also referred to as "soldier comforts", deemed accurate enough for educational display. One quilt is on display at the Andersonville Prison Musuem. The quilt featured at left will be on display in the cabin at the James Farm Home and Museum.
